ABFC was an observer at the Forest Stewardship Council regional representatives'
workshop. We then co-authored a summary information report on forest
management certification with the head of Tanana Chiefs Conference Forestry
Department.

These discussions are result of a workshop organized by the Alaska
Boreal Forest Council. We invited citizens concerned with the future
of the Tanana Valley State Forest and surrounding lands to participate
in nine community round tables.
